Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a verification method that requires more than one credential to be entered, in order to verify a user’s identity.
For example, when you log into your account, a verification code is sent to your trusted device. You use that code to get access.
At ClearScore we use 2-factor authentication (2FA).
To add an extra layer of security by making it more difficult for someone else to log in to your account.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) isn’t compulsory but we’d advise our users to enable this to protect their financial data.
