We work with TransUnion (our partner consumer reporting agency), to verify your identity and generate your credit report.
We accept the following forms of identification documents:
- Passports
- Canadian Driving Licenses
- Canadian Certificate of Identity
- Canadian Travel Document
Here's some tips for registering successfully:
- Check all your details – your name and address details must match exactly with what’s on your financial accounts.
- Don’t edit your address during sign-up – if your address isn’t showing or isn't in the correct format, check out the help article 'My exact address isn’t available'.
If you’re new to credit, you might not have a big enough credit history, so we might not be able to generate a report just yet.
You can find more information on how to build credit score in our article.
If you have a credit history and you can’t see a report or are having problems, you might need to delete your ClearScore account (via 'My Account') and re-register.
If you’ve had too many registration attempts, we’ll lock your account and you’ll need to wait 72 hours before continuing.
