The ClearScore Cup – Terms & Conditions – 15–19 July 2026
The Prize Draw. This prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is being promoted by ClearScore Canada Limited (“ClearScore"), a company registered in Ontario with registration number 1000038809 and whose registered office is at 199 Bay Street, Suite 4000, Toronto, ON, M5L 1A9, Canada.
Terms. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are the terms and conditions that apply to the Prize Draw.
Prize Draw Period.This Prize Draw is available between 09h00 on 15 July 2026 and 23h59 on 19 July 2026, in Central Standard Time (CST) (“Prize Draw Period”).
Accepting Terms. By entering the Prize Draw, all participants are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms. Any infringement of these Terms constitutes a serious breach entitling ClearScore to terminate a user’s participation or entry.
To be eligible (an “Eligible User”) for the Prize, each user must:
be a permanent resident of Canada (except Québec);
be 18 years of age or older, at the start of the Prize Draw Period;
have a valid ClearScore account; and
are not operating any fraudulent ClearScore accounts.
ClearScore reserves the right to withhold the Prize or select an alternative winner if the original winner:
fails to respond to the prize notification within 10 working days,
does not meet eligibility criteria, or
fails to provide accurate bank details.
It will be the sole decision of ClearScore as to whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met and may require evidence or confirmation of certain information from entrants before awarding prizes.
Contractors, employees and/or workers of ClearScore or any of its affiliates or their respective immediate family members are not eligible to enter into this Prize Draw.
Entry Procedure. The Prize Draw is accessible via promotional email, push notification, or by logging in to the ClearScore app or website and seeing the in-app competition banner. To earn an entry, Eligible Users must complete the daily challenge outlined in the in-app competition banner. Logging in to the app or website without completing the daily challenge will not count as an entry. Users may earn one (1) entry per day for a maximum of five (5) entries across the Prize Draw Period. Users must complete the challenge for that day - entries cannot be backdated or carried forward. Any entry after the Prize Draw Period will not be valid for this Prize Draw.
Entry Notification & Opt-Out: Eligible Users who have successfully entered will be notified via email, subject to these terms and technical availability. Eligible Users may opt out after receiving this notification, in which case their entry will be withdrawn. If you believe you are eligible for entry to this prize draw and have not received an entry confirmation email within 48 hours, please contact Customer Support. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve the chances of winning.
The Prize. The Prize consists of two (2) x $5,000 (CAD), which will be paid directly into the Winner’s nominated Canadian bank account, subject to successful verification, correct completion of the skill-testing question, and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Each Eligible User may only win one of two (2) x $5,000 (CAD).
Winner Notification. ClearScore will randomly select TWO potential ****winners (performed by a computer process) from all valid entries received from Eligible Users (as defined below) within two weeks of the end of the Prize Draw period (the “Winner(s)”). If you are selected as a potential Winner, you will receive an email from ClearScore to the email address linked to your ClearScore account (the “Winner Notification”). The Winner Notification will confirm that the participant has been selected as a potential Winner and will include instructions for prize acceptance, verification, and completion of the skill-testing question.
Skill-Testing Question. As a condition of being declared a Winner, you must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance. To claim the Prize, you must respond directly to the Winner Notification within 10 working days of receipt, confirming your eligibility and acceptance of the Prize. As a condition of being declared a Winner, you must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance. If a selected participant (i) does not respond within ten (10) days of the Winner Notification; (ii) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; and/or (iii) fails to satisfy any eligibility or verification requirements, they will forfeit their claim to the Prize. Where reasonable attempts have been made to contact the selected potential Winner, ClearScore reserves the right to contact the next eligible potential Winner. The original Winner will forfeit their claim to the Prize. This will continue until a Winner is established.
Deficient Entries. ClearScore reserves the right to reject any entries that are incomplete, not as per required specifications, incomprehensible, or otherwise deficient. ClearScore accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, or misdirected entries, including but not limited to texts, calls, online submissions, or emails not received due to technical disruptions, network congestion, or any other reason.
Automated or Manipulated Entry. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits any person to enter the Prize Draw repeatedly or in a way which is not consistent with fairness and the regular functioning of the Prize Draw is prohibited.
Names. Eligible Users must enter Prize Draw’s using their legal name only. ClearScore reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names and to require them to return any prize they may have won.
Retrospective Effect. Where an Eligible User has been found to be in breach of any of these Terms and in particular where a person is in breach of the entry restrictions, ClearScore may nevertheless still enforce its right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement of any prize, even where a prize has already been awarded and/or actually provided to the Eligible User in question.
Decision Final. ClearScore’s decision regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Transferability and refund. The Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and non-refundable. The Prize is subject to availability and no replacement Prize will be awarded in lieu of that prize or part of it. Only the Eligible User (i.e. the person who holds the identity number, registration number, or controls the mobile number and/or email address with which the entry into the Prize Draw was submitted) shall be eligible for participation in the Prize Draw.
Prize Delivery. The Prize will be transferred to the Winner’s nominated Canadian bank account within 30 days following the Winner Notification & completing verification, subject to successful completion of all required verification steps. It is the Winner’s responsibility to ensure that the bank account details and personal information they provide are accurate and up to date. ClearScore will not be liable for any errors or delays resulting from incorrect or incomplete information submitted by the Winner.
Tax. Any tax payable as a result of the Prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the Winner. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a concern.
Representations and Warranties. ClearScore makes no representation or warranty in relation to the Prize provided and to the fullest extent permitted by law, shall have no liability to Winners in relation to any Prize, its fitness for purposes, merchantability or otherwise.
Data Processing. Personal data collected and managed in connection to this Prize Draw will be handled in accordance with ClearScore’s Privacy Policy and as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions. If you win, we may ask for your consent to take part in publicity, such as publishing your information on the ClearScore website and/or app (Website).
Intellectual Property. All material, information, data, software, icons, policies, text, graphics, layouts, images, sound clips, advertisements, video clips, trade names, logos, trade-marks, designs, copyright and/or service marks (as well as the organisation and layout of the Website) of the Website and/or Prize Draw, together with the underlying software code of the Website and/or Prize Draw, are owned (or co-owned or licensed, as the case may be) by ClearScore Subject to the rights afforded to a user, all rights to all intellectual property on the Website and related to the Prize Draw are expressly reserved by ClearScore or the relevant intellectual property rights owner. You may not display, reproduce, or otherwise use any intellectual property without the written consent of ClearScore.
Termination of Prize Draw. ClearScore may terminate the Prize Draw at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to a user or other person, to the full extent permitted by applicable legislation. ClearScore will not award any prizes if the Prize Draw is terminated.
Changes to Terms. ClearScore reserves the right to amend, vary, cancel, or withdraw these Terms at any time without prior notice to users. Users should check our Website regularly for any changes which will apply from the date that they are uploaded.
Notices. For the purposes of formal service of any notices or documents to ClearScore, complaints and/or queries may be sent to help@clearscore.ca whereas the service address for any user is deemed to be the information as submitted by you at the time of entry.
ClearScore shall have no responsibility for:
any errors (technical or human), any entries affected or invalidated by technical failures or malfunctions or for data corruption;
any incomplete or illegible entries, or entries that fail to be validly and/or properly submitted;
any external factors that may prevent the Winner from accepting their prize; or
winners that we can’t contact because their email address is wrong or inactive, or is otherwise inaccessible by the winner (it is your responsibility to ensure that you provide accurate contact information to us).
Governing law. This Prize Draw is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, excluding conflict of law provisions. All claims arising out of or in any way related to the Contest will be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the court of competent jurisdiction in the City of Toronto, Ontario, and participants and ClearScore submit to personal jurisdiction of those courts.
